摘要
原文往往是一个自足的文学体系,这种文学体系的文学性所赖以表现的重要手段之一就是运用主位推进模式来建构原文的连贯,并以此来表现原文及原作者的诗学意图。小说翻译中保留原文的主位推进模式不仅有利于建构相似于原文的连贯模式和创造类似原作的艺术效果,更重要的是要传达原作者的诗学意图。由此看来,那些表面上看起来非逻辑的主位推进模式似乎正是原作者向读者展示其诗学意图的重要行文策略。翻译中忽视原文的推进模式就会使译文在传达原作的意谓方面陷入窘境。
The original work is often a self- contained literary system in which one of the most important representation methods of literariness is to use thematic progression to construct translational coherence, by which the writer's poetic intention can also be represented. Preserving the original thematic progression in literary translation can not only have positive effects on the construction of coherence in translation, but also create artistic effects and help communicate the writer's poetic intention. From such an angle, it can be assumed that those illogical patterns are important for the writer to present his/her poetic intention. The ignorance of the signification of such patterns will put E/C fiction translation into an embarrassing dilemma.
