The study focused on occurrence and development of soybean root rot disease, separation of pathogenic bacteria, culture identification, and comprehensive control. It was indicated that the occurrence of this disease was related to soybean cultivar, soil type and weather condition, which provided theoretical basis for the control of soybean root rot disease. The study indicated that soil and seed were the main sources of infection, from which comprehensive control system was established.
