蔡邕儒家思想的重要表现,是他身上相当浓郁的忠孝观念。蔡邕将“忠”与“孝”共同视为士人品格的核心和最高表现,并把“忠”置于“孝”之上。蔡邕的政治态度表现得相当复杂,他对民生的关注、时政的抨击,都颇近于党人,但他似乎更愿意如王畅、郭泰那样,通过自身道德学问的张扬,在全身远祸之际,来刺激和作用于当世。

This paper to present Cai Yong＇ s pronounced Confucianism ideal by the concrere analysis of his practical action in his life. There are very deep honesty ＆ filial piety ideal of Cai Yong. In addition, such as Wang Chang and Guo Tai, Cai Yong seems to want to sitimulate and affect the world by the power of morality or knowledge by himself.
