In 1st half of 2006, funds continue to control the non-ferrous market, many metal prices created a record level, or reached a multi-year high level. Encouraged by health fundamental and passional fund interest, the price of platinum refreshed a new record level. Antaike forecast that at the end of 2006, there will be another climb market after the summer correction, but we can＇t say it will set up a new high. Again, fund will be the driver, informations from fundamental will add fuel to the fire. It forecast that, the average quarter price of platinum will be $1 200 per ounce in 3rd quarter $1 250 per ounce in 4th quarter. The average price in 2006 will be $1 190 per ounce, and $1 200 per ounce in 2007.
