The Economic Mechanism to Realize the Harmonious Society

和谐社会的实现问题,也就是社会成员之间的协调问题。通过适当的机制调整当事人的收益矩阵,可以减少或者消除社会成员的“协调”风险,从而有效地促进和谐社会的实现。而以三种可行机制——沟通、保险和补贴承诺,付出相应的成本代价,至少可以在次优的状态下实现和谐社会。

The issue of realizing the harmonious society＇s is the problem of coordination among the members of the society. Recurring to the theory of coordination games, a harmonious society might bc implemented efficiently through an appropriate adjustment to the pay-off matrix by which the risk from the society members＇ coordination selection could be reduced or eliminated. Three mechanisms that could boost the actualization of a harmonious society-communications, insurance, and subsidy promises-were analyzed and compared in this paper.
