Critique on Modern Culture and Conceptions on Ecological Culture——Interview on Professor Lufeng

卢风教授对大学的性质、使命以及”绿色大学”的理念提出了自己的见解,特别强调大学的反思精神和批判意识。这种反思精神和批判意识也渗透其环境哲学思想之中。卢教授认为,导致现代生态危机的根源在于现代文化危机,即现代社会不把追求人生意义或无限性的力量集中于精神领域而是集中于物质领域,从而导致了全球性的生态危机。为了走出现代生态危机,卢教授从文化的器物、技术、制度、风俗、艺术、理念等维度对现代文化进行了彻底批判,并对未来的生态文化做了许多建设性构想。

Professor Lufeng put forward his own understanding to the property and missions of the universities and the idea of＂ Green Universities＂, especially emphasizing the reconsidering spirit and critique awareness, both of which also seeped in his environment - philosophy thoughts. He thought that the mot of causing modem ecological crisis lied in modem cultural crisis, namely modem society didn＇t concentratc on spiritual domain but material domain during the course of pursuit the significance of life or infinite strength, thus has cause the global ecological crisis. For the purpose of getting rid of modem ecological crisis, Professor Lu carried on a thorough critique from the dimensions of utensil, technology, system, customs, art, idea, and so on; at the same time, he has made many constructive conceptions to the future ecological - conscious culture.
