Having entered into the new century, the world is marked by unfathomable vicissitudes. The artful maneuver of China＇s foreign policy under this backdrop attracts wide attention. And this must be attributed to the fact that China＇s diplomacy highlights ＂peace＂. ＂Peace＂ is the principle by which China deals with relations with other countries and international relations. This characteristic of Chinese diplomacy derives from China＇s status as a socialist developing country as well as from its ancient philosophy and the noble ideal of the Chinese nation towards the world.
