This year marks the 55^th anniversary of the diplomatic relations between China and Pakistan. Leaders of both countries have sent each othercongratulatory messages in high praise of the relationship. President Hu Jintao pointed out that in the past 55 years since China and Pakistan established diplomatic relationship on the basis of the five principles of peaceful coexistence, the two countries have established an allweather friendship and relations of comprehensive cooperation ,which have brought tangible benetits to the two peoples and have made positive contribution to peace ,stability and development of the world. President Musharraf said that Pakistan and China are neighbors. The close exchanges between the two peoples can date back to more than 1000 years ago Since the establishment of diplomatic relationship 55 years ago,the all-weather friendship between Pakistan and China has withstood the test of time and is maturing by the day.
