从托勒密埃及的统治模式看“希腊化”

On the Greekization of Egypt from the View of Domination Mode of Egypt from 332 to 30 B.C.

一般认为,托勒密埃及时期埃及被“希腊化”了。托勒密王朝的统治模式为:在政治上,托勒密王朝的国王实行中央集权的专制统治,并仿效埃及法老神化王权,推行国王崇拜以加强王权;在经济上,沿袭法老王朝的国家垄断经营的模式。因此,希腊统治者最大化地继承了埃及法老的专制主义君主制传统,只是适当地以希腊城邦式的民主自治为装饰。所以,埃及的“希腊化”还不如说是希腊的“埃及化”。

It is generally believed that Egypt was Greekized in Ptolemaic times from 332 to 30 B.C. An analysis of the domination mode of Ptolemaic Dynasty indicates that Greek rulers inherited the constitutional automatic monarchy of Pharaoh Egypt camouflaged with Greek city- state democratic autonomy. Greekization of Egypt is actually Egyptianization of Greece.
