晁公武是南宋著名的目录学家,《郡斋读书志》是其代表作,版本有袁本、衢本之别。《郡斋读书志》对目录学的贡献体现在三个方面:图书分类既有因袭,又有创新;总序、类序和小序具有辨章学术,考镜源流的作用;提要体例完备,内容丰富,是《读书志》最大的特色和贡献。

Chao Gongwu was a famous bibliographer in late Song Dynasty. Junzhai dushu zhi was his representative works , which had two editions ：Yuanzhou edition and Quzhou edition. Junzhai dushu zhi manifested Chao Gongwu＇s achievement in bibliography ：first, in addition fellowing others, Chao Gongwu had innovated lots of new methods of classiting book . Second, general prologue, class prologue and little prologue of this book all play roles of discriminating learning and studying its headstream. Third, abstract＇ style of this book was mature and its content was rich, these were most remarkable features and success of Junzhai dushu zhi .
