Medical Ethics Should Be A Major Subject in Medical Education

近几年我们一直关注医疗体制改革和医患关系、医德医风的状况。医德的“滑坡”激起了社会公众的共同谴责。社会需要什么样的医学生，需要什么样的医生，对今天的医学教育提出了严峻的课题。如何培养医学生，使之得到社会的认可和公众的信赖，亟需对医学院校的现行教育方式进行必要的反思。

In recent years we have been paying attention to reforms of medical system, doctor-patient relationship, and common practice in medical care. The degraded medical ethics has aroused public condemnation. What kind of medical students and doctors the society needs poses a tough question to the present medical education. How to train medical students to enable them to win social approval and public＇s trust deserves our reflections on the existing means of education at medical colleges and universities.
