Social Constructivism and New Approach to Technology Studies

摘要 科学知识社会学向技术的转向形成了社会建构技术的崭新研究方法和研究观点。它一方面突破了技术发展的线性模式,转而强调技术形成的多向性、非线性特征;另一方面,它主张技术成功不单纯是技术本身创新的成功,更是依赖于技术系统的成功。文章表明,社会建构论能够运用于技术研究领域,科学知识社会学的对称性原则能够有效地向技术研究扩展。 The turn from sociology of scientific knowledge to technology studies happened in 1980s.The new approach about the social construction of technology outbreak the lineage model of the technology,and make an emphasis on the multimode and nonlinear character in the shaping of technology.Meanwhile,it stressed on that the success of technology lays more the success of the system than the success of technology itself.It can be illustrated from the essay that social constructivism can be used in the technology studies,and the symmetry principle within the SSK also can be extended into technology studies.
