An Approach of the Melting into Chinese of the Eight-banner Mongolian

八旗蒙古是清代统治集团的重要组成部分。他们各地任官,携眷驻防,接触汉文化条件极为便利,因此,他们无论是生活方式、风俗习惯、语言文字,还是心理状态都逐渐与汉民族相融合。在八旗蒙古汉化的历史进程中,生存环境的变化无疑起到了基础作用,而清朝政府所推行的基本国策以及科举教育等制度,也对其汉化起到了关键的导向和催生作用。

Eight - banner Mongohan was a very important part of the Qing government. They took the post of the officers in different parts of the country with their family. It was convenient for them to be in touch with Chinese culture. Therefore, their life style, customs, language and script as well as their mentality all gradually melted into Chinese. During the historical process of the melting into Chinese, the change of the existent environment undoubtedly had very basic function. And the basic national policies and the education system carried out by the Qing government also had the pivotal guidance and accelerative function.
