摘要
《简.爱》中的主人公简.爱一直被誉为一株迎风而立的劲草。但是,简同时也透露出其作者悲观的另一面。在这部传记式作品中,作者勃朗特在书中大量地运用了自己的亲身经历。社会存在决定社会意识。由于自己的不幸遭遇,因此勃朗特对简.爱这一形象的刻画也必然具有悲剧色彩。
Jane Eyre, the heroine in Jane Eyre, is universally viewed as a ＂tough guy＂ in the phallocentrist society at that time. On the other hand, she also shows the author＇s tragic attitude towards the society. The author Charlotte Bronte makes good use of her own experience in this autobiographical novel. Social consciousness is based on social being. Charlotte Bronte＇ s own adversity in life inevitably portrays Jane Eyre with tragedy.
