The localization of CTK-bindingprotein in cells of wheat leaves was investigated using autoradiography andimmuno-gold labelling technique.Electron microscope autoradiographsshowed that silver grains (3H-6BA )were localized only at the thylakoidmembanes of chloroplasts. Immunogold localization showed that in wheatleaf cells, gold particles were mainlyassociated to chloroplasts, where theywere concentrated' in the thylakoidmembranes. These factS suggest thatthe chloroplast CTK-binding protein isrestricted to the thylakoid membranesof wheat chloroplasts.
