论新经济环境下国际饭店与餐馆协会自身职能的加强与转变

随着区域集团化和经济全球化的发展,行业协会的职能也应该随之进行相应的转变和加强。国际饭店与餐馆协会作为全球最具影响力的饭店行业权威性组织更应该与时俱进,对自身各项职能进行有计划、有步骤地调整。本文首先对国际饭店与餐馆协会的概况和贡献进行了介绍,之后分析了加强协会职能的背景原因,最后,提出了在新经济环境下饭店与餐馆协会所应实施的一些改变和调整。

Trade unions, especially international trade unions should adjust themselves to the current economic situations. With the shaping of regional groups and the development of economic globalization, International Hotel and Restaurant Association should consequently make some adjustments as well as restructure its functions to ensure its authoritative position in hospitality industry. This paper reviews the establishment and achievements of IHRA, and then illustrates the new economic background against which some changes should be undertaken, and finally advances some suggestions in reinforcing the functions of IHRA.
