作为明代四大奇书之一的《金瓶梅》,它最大的特色就是成功塑造了西门庆、潘金莲、李瓶儿、庞春梅等一代新人。这里所谓“新人”,主要指的是中国小说史乃至中国文学史上从未出现过的人物形象,是小说创作发展到某一时代所必然塑造出的人物形象。
