Finance sector is the core composition of modern economy. It is an important strategy for Guangzhou to develop its finance industry and play a chief role as a regional finance center when thinking of its advantage and core competence, attempting its social and economical sustainable development. This paper analyzes the current situation of Guangzhou＇s role as a regional finance center and the necessities of improving its role, suggests from 7 aspects, namely policy environment, ecological atmosphere, market environment, cooperative platform, demand environment, innovation atmosphere and service environment.
