摘要
以50MeV/u丰中子炮弹18O轰击天然铀靶,通过奇异的多核于转移反应产生了239Pa,用放射化学分离方法从复杂的反应产物中分离出Pa活性,借助于239Pa及其子体239U衰变的观察,鉴别了新重丰中子核素239Pa,并测定其半衰期为106±30min.同时,还发现了能量为522.0、562.0、638.5、681.0keV的239Pa的四条衰变γ射线。
This paper presents the experimental method and result on observation of a new isotope 239Pa.The 239Pa was produced by 50MeV/u neutron-rich projectile(18O)bombarding natural uranium through exotic multi-nucleon transfer reactions.The new heavy neutron-rich nuclide 239Pa was identified for the first time by using chemical separation and observing the decay of 239Pa was determined to be 106 ± 30min. In addition, four decay γ-ray of 239Pa as well as its daughter 239U,the half-life of 239Pa with energy 522.0,562.0.638.5 and 681.0 keV respectively have been found.
