Objective To observe the effect of ropivacaine mesylate in Cchildren's Caudal Anesthesia. Methods Thirty ASA I or II perineum Surgery pediatrico patients were randomited into two groups evenly. The study group(n= 15) treated with ropivacaine mesylate 3 mg/kg, and the Control group (n = 15) anesthesia with lido caine 8 mg/kg, Ketamine 5 rng/kg-6 mg/kgin was given before inducting Caudal Anesthesia, Ketamine and Propofol were given intravenously in necessity during the opration . BP, HR, RR, SpO2 and the dosage of Ketamine and propefol were recorded during the surgery. Mortor power and reflex Scale Scrores (MPRS) were tested in the end of the opration. Results BP, HR,RR and SpO2 had no significant differentce between the two groups . The dosages of Ketamine and Propofol as well as the MPRS Scores were significant differentce(P〈0.05). Conclusion The results indicate that ropivacaine mesylate is the best in child Caudal block with good Analgesia and minimal side effects .
