New Methods and Crucial Techniques for the Design of Vehicle Body

摘要 结合东风汽车公司车身计算机集成制造系统(CIMS)的研究与设计,讨论了高新技术引起的车身设计方法的重大变革和车身CAD的关键技术,介绍了车身CIMS环境和计算机在车身设计方面的应用成果. By referring to the design research on a computer integrated manufacturing system (CIMS) of the vehicle body for Dongfeng Motors, the progress in body design methods owing to the adoption of new high tech and the crucial techniques of vehicle body CAD are discussed. Of the new methods discussed are the intelligent conceptual design, 3 D parametric feature based engineering design, finite element analysis, all in performance optimization, lifelike graphic display as well as the simulation and automobile ergonomics. The body CIMS environment and the achievements in the development of vehicle body because of its application are also described.
