摘要
通过分析由光诱致的电荷密度涨落对铁磁/非磁性(FM/NM)金属多层膜非磁性层中费米面附近电子的交换劈裂能的影响,对NM层金属附加磁光克尔效应的频谱特性进行了理论推导和定量计算,证明FM/NM多层膜在其NM层的等离子体吸收边附近确实可能存在磁光克尔谱的增强,并讨论了有些样品没有出现这种增强峰的原因.
The electronic structure of YIG and Bi YIG films are calculated using the DV Xα method. It has been found that there are two types of charge transfer transition which are the main origin of the Faraday effect on the basis of the total density of energy states of YIG adn Bi YIG films. With the doping of Bi 3+ , the intensity of the oscillator in transit is increased and the coupling orbits between Bi 6p and Fe 3d are formed with large spin orbit interaction. This is the reason why the Faraday rotation of Bi YIG is intensified.
