Scientific View on Nationality and the Construction of Chinese Nationality

对内构建和谐社会,对外构建和谐世界,是新世纪中国发展的大战略。中华民族是一个正在成长中的民族,为了应对全球化的挑战,必须加强中华民族建设,积极推动中华民族多元一体格局向一元一体格局转型。在对民族主义思潮进行反思的基础上提出了科学民族观,并探讨了建设中华民族,弘扬中华主义的基本方略。

To construct a harmonious society at home and a harmonious world outside is a great strategy for the development of China in the new century. The Chinese nationality is a growing one, and to cope with the challange of globalization,the construction of Chinese nationality must be strengthened, and the change from the multi-facet to mono-facet must positively pushed forward. Based on the reflection of the nationalism, scientific view on nationality is presented and the stragegies of constructing Chinese nationality and promoting sinoism is discussed.
