It is only a matter of time that international society flrce all types of vessels to use low-sulphur fuel for proceeding from environment protection .This paper analyses the cause of trouble which two marine low speed main engines met when using low-sulphur fuel ,discusses the avoiding measures which are recommended by low speed main engine manufactory and adopted by ship management company basing on the cause.
