本文通过分析iSCSISAN的技术原理和工作机制，结合研究WebGIS的系统架构方式，探讨iSCSISAN应用于WebGIS系统的可行性与实现途径，以解决制约性能的服务器负载与网络传输负载过重的技术瓶颈。

The overload of GIS server and network transportation is the main technological bottleneck which restricts the performance of Web GIS . This paper , based on the analysis on the principle and the mechanism about iSCSI SAN and the Web GIS system structure , discusses the feasibility and realization way of applying iSCSI SAN technology into Web GIS for solving the problem.
