Enlightenment from the Matrix Management of Standard Chartered Bank(Hong Kong) Limited for China's Commercial Banks

银行业竞争程度的加剧对商业银行的管理模式提出了更高的要求,矩阵式管理框架已经成为西方商业银行经营管理的核心原则,而我国国有商业银行仍沿用着传统的计划性很强的层次管理结构。渣打银行的矩阵式组织架构为我国商业银行组织架构的调整提供了一种先进的模式。

Higher requirements have been proposed for the tensed competition in China＇s banking industry. Matrix management framework has become a core principle for western commercial bank operation and management. However, traditional hierarchical management structure fully with a planning nature is still inherited in China＇s commercial bank management. On the basis of analyz- ing the matrix management framework of Standard Chartered Bank （Hong Kong） Limited, this paper illustrates the reference significance for the reform of our commercial banks.
