摘要
本文运用分数维几何学,研究了河流水系分维与地壳里向运动、活动断裂格局及运动学特征的关联性。结果表明:1)地壳垂向运动控制大型河流主干的总体形态;2)活动断裂格局复杂、水平运动强烈的地区,水系分维值高;3)走滑断裂较斜滑断裂对水系发育的控制强烈,而后者主要起到对水系的分区作用。
In this paper, the authors study the characteristies of the fractal dimensions of major rivers and drainage systems, the relationship between the dimensions and the vertical movement of the crust and the active fault patterns as well as the kinematic features of the faultings. The results of the study are as the following.1 ) The general shape of a major river, to a considerable extent, is controlled by the vertical movement of the crust;2 ) The fractal dimensions of the drainage systems might present quite high values in regions associated with complex patterns of active faults and strong horizontal crustal motions;3 ) The geometric pattern of the drainage systems is strongly controlled by the strike-slip rather than by oblique-slip faultings. The latter only play a role in delimiting the areas covered by the drainage systems into different patterns.
