晚清政治小说的现代性

An analysis of the modernity of the political novels in the late Qing Dynasty

作为从西方引入的一种文学类型,晚清政治小说具有强烈的功利性与乌托邦色彩,是创作者用以开启民智的工具,主旨不在文体建设。尽管如此,作为古典文学向现代文学转变中的一个重要环节,晚清政治小说在“说教”中实蕴含着巨变,它在题材、叙事、传播等方面都呈现出了现代性意义,并影响着新文学的发展。

As a new type of literature introduced from the west, the political novels in late Qing Dynasty, which have a strong utility and Utopia color, are the tool for the authors to initiate people＇s wisdom and their aim is not the style construction. Even so, as an important link of the change from the classic literature into the modem literature, the novels include the great changes in sermon and present the modernity meaning in the aspects of theme, narration and transmission, affecting the development of the new literature.
