摘要
为简化接收端信道估计和数据检测的复杂度,对使用零保护间隔(zero padding,ZP)的正交频分复用(orthogonal frequency division modulation,OFDM)系统提出一种简单的数据处理和信道估计算法。利用插入ZP的特殊结构,经过时域简单处理,将信道矩阵变为循环矩阵,再对时域接收数据进行傅里叶变换,得到频域接收和发送数据一一对应的关系,可以和使用循环前缀(cyclic prefix,CP)的OFDM一样进行频域插入导频、频域信道估计和频域一阶均衡。仿真结果表明,使用ZP的OFDM系统节省了发送功率,在慢时变信道情况下具有和CP-OFDM相比拟的性能。
To simplify the complexity of channel estimation and data detection at the receiver, a simple channel estimation method for ZP OFDM (zero padding orthogonal frequency division modulation) system is proposed. Employing the special feature of inserting ZP for OFDM system, the time domain received data is simply processed, the channel matrix is turned to cyclic matrix and then the FFT is operated on the processed data. One to one mapping relation is obtained. Channel parameters can be estimated and one-tap channel equali- zation can be fulfilled at the frequency for frequency pilot symbol assisted ZP OFDM system. The simulation re suhs show that transmission power of ZP-OFDM system is reduced and system performance is almost same as CP OFDM at the condition of slowly variant channel.
