Xu Xiake' s Study on the Geography of Southwest Nationalities' Counties

文章从民族地理学的角度,以徐霞客晚年对西南地区完整意义上的科学考察资料为依据,从聚落的数量、名称、形态、规模、内部结构、聚落景观与建筑、聚落与集市等多个层面,系统地揭示了徐霞客对西南民族聚落考察的贡献,以及他在考察过程中所体现出来的求真务实的科学精神。

The article comes from the point of view about nationalities geography, according to the datum that Xu Xiake collected in studying the whole southwest area in his late years, his studies consisted of county quantity, name, modality, internal frame, county scene and architecture, etc. In this article, the author expounds two parts, one is that Xu Xiake marked out view contribution for southwest counties, the other is that he had a kind of real science spirit during his life studies.
