依据作者制作多媒体课件的实践，分析讨论了非线性编辑系统组成及其优越性和非线性编辑系统软件选用应考虑的因素，并通过开发《机械加工》教学软件实例，阐述了非线性编辑系统技术在开发多媒体课件中的应用。
According to our practice in developing CAI courseware, analyze the composition of nonlinear editing system and its advantages, discuss several factors to select nonlinear editing system software. Elaborate the application of nonlinear editing system in developing CAI courseware by an example of teaching software of Mechanical Machining.
