On the Consciousness of Cultural Crises in E.L.Doctorow's Fictions

摘要多克特罗作品的一个显著特点就是把真实的历史人物和虚构的情节揉合在一起,进而对美国的宗教和种族矛盾价值观等文化危机做出了反思。多克特罗认为,美国人民只有意识到这种危机并且对此做出深刻反思,才能在全球化的背景下更好地重新建构美国的文化价值观。 Interweaving historical facts with fiction, E. L. Doctorow＇s fictions reflect the contemporary American cultural crises such as values of religion and ethnic conflicts and so on. Doctorow insists that only when American people are fully aware of the crises and make reflections on them can Amerian culture be better reconstructed during globalization.
