红米稻分为高秆和矮秆两种类型。其单株分蘖性强,成穗数多,但穗粒数和千粒重低,比常规水稻减产12%以上。其加工品质、外观品质及食口性差。红米稻落粒性强,越冬出苗率高,通过增加播种深度,可明显降低其出苗率。
