关于中医药院校本科生开设中医药汉译英翻译课程的思考

Considerations on offering Chinese medicine translation course to undergraduate students of colleges and universities of Chinese medicine

根据教育部下发的非英语专业本科生英语教学的《大学英语课程教学要求》,对学生的“翻译”能力提出了具体的要求。分析了中医药院校英语课程开设的现状,阐述了开设中医药汉译英翻译课程的必要性,说明了开设中医药汉译英翻译课程的可行性,明确了中医药汉译英翻译课程应达到的教学目标,指出中医药汉译英翻译课程的开设是时代的要求、是中医药事业发展的需要。

According to the Teaching Requirements for College English set by the Ministry of Education for non- English undergraduate students, there are requirements in details concerning students＇ ability of translation. This paper studied present situation of offering English courses in colleges and universities of Chinese medicine. Necessity of offering Chinese medicine translation course was expounded. Feasibility was explained and teaching objectives defined. It is pointed out that offering this course is the requirement of the new times and the need of development of Chinese medicine cause.
