摘要
分析了计算机程序设计类文献中对割线法算法的描述，指出并论证了其缺点之所在。
This paper pointed out and proved the existing defects from an analysis of the descriptions of secant methods in computer programming literatures.The suggestion for the algorithm of secant methods in application was put forward.
