在我国农业发展进入新阶段以及经济全球化的新形势下，国家质检总局于2003年批准对陕西苹果实施地理标志产品保护，使陕西苹果获得了国际经济贸易的“经济国籍”，扩大了陕西苹果在国内外市场上的影响，有力促进了陕西苹果产业的快速健康持续发展。
At the new stage of China＇s agricultural development and under the new situation of economic globalization, the General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine of China （AQSIQ） has approved ＂the Geographic Indication （GI） Product Protection＂ to Shaanxi apple. Therefore Shaanxi apple has gained its recognized position in international trade, thus expanding its impact on domestic and overseas markets, and promoting the rapid, sound and sustainable development.
