这个豪华住宅区位于杭州市钱塘江附近，所在的场地形成于一个小山谷之中，为稠密的竹林所环绕，此地特有的吸引力和美景是设计的关键因素，为了给每栋建筑物创造最大化的开放空间，这12栋独立的建筑被安置在一个棋盘般的图形上，通过种植新的植被，每栋建筑看上去只是占用了树林中原有的空地。
The site for this luxury housing development ,situated near Qian Tang River in Hangzhou in south-eastem China,is formed by a small valley ,bordered by a dense bamboo forest.The particular charm and beauty of the place are the determing factors ,12 individual volumes are arranged in a chessboard pattern to create the maximum amount of open space for each building.
