社会工作价值观是社会工作专业的灵魂,是社会工作者从事专业实践活动和服务活动的精神动力。很少有一个专业象社会工作如此注重价值观的讨论与内化。起源于西方的社会工作价值观主要源于人道主义、实证主义和乌托邦思想等,我国的社会工作专业发展尽管起步缓慢但相当迅速,充分开发利用传统文化资源对于社会工作价值观本土化进程的推进是极为重要的。

Values of social work are the soul of social work profession as well as the spiritual motivation of social workers who participate in allround practice and service. There seldom exists any profession which attachs improtance to the values discussion and internaliztion just like social work profession. In China, the values of social work deriving from the West are based on Humantarianism, Positivism, Uptopianism and so on. Even though the outset of social work is relatively late, the pace of it is extremly quick. Thus, it is crucially important for the development of localizing the social work values to make full use of the resources of traditional culture.
