A Research on Traditional Confucianism and LiuGuangdi's Political Activity

刘光弟是戊戌变法时期著名维新志士,也是一位清正廉明、具有强烈忧患意识的封建士大夫。他的政治思想明显带有西方资本主义的特点,但就其思想基础而言,仍是传统儒学。

LiuGuangdi was a famous person of reform in the Constitutional Reform and Modernization of 1898, and was also a honest and upright feudal scholar-officer with strong concern with his county. His political ideals obviously had a feature of West Capitalism, but, in fact, a feature of traditional Confucianism from the basis of his ideals instead.
