讨论了大功率UPS使用的阀控铅酸蓄(VRLA)电池组的原理、结构、运行状况,以及影响蓄电池使用寿命的各种因素,分析了现行电池故障预测方法存在的问题,说明了通过核对性放电检测电池组后备荷电容量的必要性,根据理论计算对蓄电池组进行科学的维护与检测,随时掌握各项指标与重要数据,结合实际详尽介绍了电池组数据检测、容量测试技术的应用、日常维护管理等方法。
The theoretical structure and working status of the VRLA (Valve Regulated Lead Acid ) batteries using in the high-power UPS and various factors influencing the life cycle of the batteries are discussed. The problems in forecasting battery faults are analyzed, and the necessities of testing the back-up capacity of the batteries by discharging tests are illustrated. The batteries are maintained and measured with rational methods based on theoretic calculation, so as to know the working status and record the test data. The application and development of battery discharge data checking and capacity testing technology are introduced.
