介绍了巯基乙酸的生产方法、应用情况、市场需求状况。巯基乙酸的大规模生产方法是氯乙酸-硫氢化钠法,应用领域包括功能性化妆品、合成材料助剂和缓蚀剂等。2002年我国巯基乙酸的产量不超过600t,而需求量约为4500t,高纯度的巯基乙酸几乎全部依赖进口。2004年美国巯基乙酸的产量为1.24万t/a,西欧为1.4万t/a,日本为0.33万t/a。预计这些地区巯基乙酸的消费增长率在未来5年将保持为3%。
The production technologies, applications and market of thioglycolic acid are introduced. The reaction based on monochloroacetic acid and sodium hydrosulfide is the main process suitable for its large-scaled production. Thioglycolic acid is mainly used as functional cosmetics, additives for synthetic material and corrosion inhibitor, etc. The thioglycolic acid output in China was less than 600t in 2002 with demand of 4500t, so the high-purity product almost fully depended on import. In 2004, the outputs of thioglycolic acid in the U. S. , Western Europe and Japan were 12400t/a, 14000t/a and 3300t/a respectively. It is forecasted that the increase rate of consumption of thioglycolic acid is expected to be maintained at the level of 3% over the next five years.
