对苦刺种子进行生药学研究，包括药材性状、显微结构和理化鉴定。提出了苦刺种子生药的主要性状鉴别特征。经组织和粉末研究发现，栅状细胞、支持细胞等为其主要鉴别特征。

Kuci is a semen of Sophora davidii (Franch.) Kom. ex Pavol., bolongs to Leguminosae. Is a common drug among the people. For the accurency in using, this ariticle deals with pharmacognostical study of Sement of Sophora davidii (Franch.) Kom. ex Pavol., inctuding macroscopic, microscopic structure, chemical and physical indentification features of the original plant and its crude were described, and a survey of distribution area of the original plant was also made; histological and powder indentification shows thas fence cell, support cell are principal microscopic indentification characteristics.
