From the perspectives of Chinese Communist Party＇s correct theoretical guidance and Chinese government＇s strong support for cooperatives, this paper investigates the causes of the rapid development of the cooperative economy during 1949- 1952, answers the question why cooperative economy was the fastest developing sector among all the national economic sectors during 1949-1952, and displays the current significance of the study on the causes of the rapid development of the cooperative e- conomy during 1949-1952.
