On Dynamic Mechanism for Public Participation in Environmental Protection

保护环境、实施可持续发展战略,是一项需要全人类共同参与的系统工程。公众参与环境保护,不是一时的心血来潮,而是多种因素交互影响、多个行动者互动的结果。本文着重从环境意识的提高、环保NGO的推动、大众媒介的导引等方面分析公众参与环境保护的动力机制。

Protecting environment and implementing a sustainable development strategy is a systematic engineering project requiring concerted efforts from all the mankind. The mass＇ environmental protection is not a result of merely a whim, but the reciprocal influence between different forces and interaction among different actors. This article mainly focuses on such aspects as the improvement of environmental protection consciousness, promotion by environmental protection NGOs, and guidance from mass media to analyze the dynamic mechanism for the public participation in environmental protections.
