摘要
阐述了煤成油研究对挖潜和扩大石油的勘探范围、完善和发展石油勘探理论都具有重要的现实和理论意义。并从有机岩石学观点出发，对煤成油的研究现状和进展进行了评述。
In near years,the scientists from coal and oil geology develop a new oil-searching field,i.e.oil-derived from coals.It has important actual and theoretic significance to study oil derived from coals for expanding oil exploration range and developing oil-generating theory.This paper sums up present research situation and advances in oil from coals in organic petrologic point of view.
