摘要
作者在对四川旺苍产出的一种硬质粘土作物相分析，并对其主要工艺性能进行讨论的基础上，评价了四川旺苍粘土的应用及开发前景。旺苍粘土最适用于作耐火材料原料，其次是陶瓷原料。是一种急待开发利用的非金属矿产资源。通过对旺苍粘土的应用研究，可为合理开发利用四川地区紧缺的粘土资源提供有益的思路。
Based on the mineral phase analysis, the main technological features of one kind of clay from Wangchang, Sichuan, are discussed. The prospects of exploitation and utilization for the clay are evaluated.It is suggested that the most fitting use of the clay is to make refractories and ceramic materisls. The clay is an important nonmetul mineral resource waiting for being exploitedand utilized.This paper gives a clue of exploiting and utilizing clay resources in proper way.
