摘要
根据海城地震余震的空间分布特征、震后地裂缝分布和形变测量结果,结合震区的地球物理探测资料,对海城地震孕育的地球物理环境做了讨论。作者认为,在理论上,海城震区中部地壳的局部低速层内的介质,可能同时具有低密度、高温和高导电率性质,并使该处介质的其他力学性质发生变化,使其难以积累较大的弹性应变能,而将应力转移到其上部的上地壳,在那里形成较高程度的应力集中,成为孕震体。因此。
The authors discussed geophysical background of Haicheng earthquake genesis on the basis of spacial distribution of the aftershocks,ground fractures and deformation data obtained after the main shock in this paper.It is showed that the medium in low velocity layer of middle crust probably is of low density,high temperature and high conductivity theoretically,and other mechanical property of the medium also change,so more elactical strain energy difficultly is stored in the medium and stress is transfered to upper crust.Finally,high stress concentration is engendered in the upper crust and seismogenic volume forms;for this reason the existence of low velocity layer probably is important bases for judging the place where strong earthquake will occur
