摘要
Objective To study the injury character of whiplash injuries of cervical spinal cord and treatment effect of anterior S urg. Methods Amterior decompression fusion and internal fixation with plate was performed in 36 cases with whiplash injuries of cervical spinal cord accompanied by acute traumatic cervical disc protrusion confirmed by image analysis. All cases were followed up for 36 - 54 months （mean 46.4 months）. Results Traffic injury was the major injury. Cervical vertebra protrusion occurred mainly at CA,C5 and C6 segments,with central type as the dominant protrusion type of intervertebral disc and with operation effectiveness of 95 % （34/36）.
