The authors describe the features, technological principle and control points of the technology for prefabrication and suspended splicing of box girders with a segmentation method and, in the light of the construction of Sutong Bridge, focus on the analysis of the characteristics of box girders under stress and the key points of linear control of box girders in the process of prefabrication as well as the measures to improve the technology. The analysis and discussions may offer some reference for similar projects.
