Now people pay much attention to hybrid-electric vehicles for its high fuel economy and low emission. Hybrid-electric systems are suitable for city buses and have much potential in the bus market, hybrid-electric city buses are performing transit service in the globe today. This article provides an overview of the status and demonstration of hybrid-electric city buses around the world.
